Abstract
This tale follows the plot of Charles Perrault’s tale, with Sleeping Beauty cursed by an evil fairy who had not been invited to her christening. Awoken by the prince, Sleeping Beauty marries him and bears him two children. The prince’s mother, an ogress, wishes to devour Beauty and her children, but her plan is foiled and she dies in a vat of poison snakes.
